An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Unfaithful, the 1947 Vincent Sherman marriage infidelity romantic love triangle crime film noir ("It's so easy to cry 'Shame'!"; "If she were yours could you forgive?"; "The New Warner Sensation!"; based on a novel by W. Somerset Maugham; about a Los Angeles socialite who kills an intruder to her house who she claims she didn't know, but then friends of the murdered man come forward with evidence that contradicts her story) starring Ann Sheridan, Lew Ayres, Zachary Scott, Eve Arden, Steven Geray, Douglas Kennedy, and Jerome Cowan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from 1947, but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
