Robinson, Loretta Young, Orson Welles, Philip Merivale, Richard Long, and Billy House NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. It had creases, small tears, and tiny paper loss in the right half of the middle horizontal fold and across the entire bottom horizontal fold. It had some pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges, with tape stains in each blank corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, with no excess, but either the restorer did not replace the small areas of missing paper in the blank borders, or paper loss occurred after it was backed (but it is in the blank borders, so it would not show if the poster is framed).
