Date Sold 4/15/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 2 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) The Terror, the 1928 Roy Del Ruth London England horror mystery haunted house thriller ("From the play by Edgar Wallace"; the then very popular plot of having a group of very difficult people brought together at a spooky house, and there is a mysterious person called "The Terror", who is terrorizing them; one of the very first "talking" pictures; it had a synchronized talking soundtrack on Vitaphone discs, which were like records, and had to be played on a disc player, and the hope was that the movie and discs would stay exactly synchronized throughout the entire movie, but that did not work very well!) starring May McAvoy, Louise Fazenda, Edward Everett Horton, Alec B. Francis, Mathew Betz, Holmes Herbert, and John Miljan. Note that even the credits were read aloud (by Conrad Nagel, who was himself not credited). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
