An Undated (probably 1930s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47" x 63" [119 x 160 cm]) (Learn More) Now or Never, the 1921 Fred C. Newmeyer silent slapstick romantic comedy short (produced by Hal Roach; about a nanny who decides to take a neglected infant she cares for with her on a train to meet her childhood sweetheart and she finds that he sneaked on to the train already to meet her, but the child's father boards the train and to avoid detection she leaves the infant with her sweetheart, but he has no experience with children and has no idea what he is doing!) starring Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis, Anna Mae Bilson (5 year-old child actress who holds her own against Harold Lloyd!), Roy Brooks, and Sammy Brooks NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster before (or ANY other movie paper from France for this title)! Also note that this is an extremely rare French poster from before World War II! Virtually no French posters survive from before World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards. Finally note that the artist of this poster sadly drew the black actor playing the conductor in a caricature fashion that was popular at the time, but will never again be seen on any posters, due to their strong racist overtones.
