Show Folks, the 1928 Paul L. Stein New York City Broadway theater stage acting dancing romantic love triangle comedy ("Smiles and tears in the tense lives of the world's show folks."; "From an original story by Philip Dunning"; about a vaudeville dancer who meets a girl working at the concession stand and he brings her into his act; they become a team on stage and off, but then they have a fight and she walks out, and he finds another girl for the act, but she is a terrible dancer, which sinks his career, but fortunately, his old girlfriend returns to him, both on stage and off) starring Eddie Quillan, Lina Basquette, Robert Armstrong, Bessie Barriscale, and Carole Lombard (billed as "Carol Lombard", before she changed her name to Carole!; fifth billed!). Note that Carole Lombard has a small but key role as the "replacement" girl! Note that this movie was (like The Jazz Singer) a silent movie that had some talking sequences, but was otherwise silent.
