An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Always Audacious ("Toujours de L'Audace"), the 1920 James Cruze silent San Francisco California romantic mistaken identity melodrama ("Based on the Saturday Evening Post story by Ben Ames Williams"; about an upright successful fellow who finds he has a lookalike who is disreputable, and the lookalike gets him in big trouble, but he manages to make things right) starring Wallace Reid (in a dual role!), Margaret Loomis, Clarence Geldart, J.M. Dumont, and Rhea Haines. Note that it was a pretty common plot device in silent movies to not only have people meet their exact double, but also to then go on to impersonate them. I wonder if this happens much in real life. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
