Appassionata, the 1944 (released in the U.S. in 1946) Olof Molander Swedish romantic love triangle concert pianist musical melodrama (as strange story of a famous pianist who has a beautiful wife, and he attacks one of her admirers and is sent to prison, and when he gets out, he becomes a music teacher and all is fine until he discovers that one of his pupils is in love with his wife) starring Georg Rydeberg, Viveca Lindfors, Alf Kjellin, Georg Funkquist, and Harriet Bosse. Note that the movie was released in the U.S. after two years because Viveca Lindfors had moved to the U.S. and was making movies there.
