Into the hearts of millions..."; "You see it without glasses in CinemaScope"; "Based on King Features Syndicate's 'Prince Valiant' by Harold Foster") starring James Mason (as Sir Brack/The Black Knight), Janet Leigh, Robert Wagner (in the title role as Prince Valiant), Debra Paget, Sterling Hayden, Victor McLaglen, Donald Crisp, Brian Aherne, Barry Jones, Mary Philips, Howard Wendel, and Tom Conway. Note that Robert Wagner was basically forced to wear his hair the way the comic strip character had done, and that certainly didn't help this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Harold Foster Important Added Info: Note that while this game came out at the time of the above movie, it really has no connection to it (it is based on the comic strip, and it was hoped that the movie would help sell lots of board games, and vice versa). Also note that this is one of 120 board games we are auctioning in this set of auctions. It is a remarkable collection that covers all decades and genres. Most are movie or TV related in some way (often based on a specific movie or TV show, but sometimes on a character). All of the games were actually used and played with. We can't say if the games are complete, especially in regards to the small pieces. We have photographed the cover of the game, the inside of the cover (if relevant), the board, and the game pieces, and we include the length and width measurements of the box. Please look at our images to tell both the overall condition of the game, and to see if it appears to be complete. We have assigned each game an overall condition grade, but because we are FAR from experts in these board games, we don't have a basis for how to grade them, and we are just taking a good guess as to how to grade them. We also have already packed the games so that they will be quickly ready to ship, so they can't be opened, and therefore we can't look at any of them to give further information beyond what is seen in our images.
