Der Scheinheilige Florian (literally translates to "The Hypocritical Florian"), the 1941 Joe Stockel German arson firefighting crime slapstick comedy melodrama (about two German farmers who take out fire insurance before a new fire engine is commissioned for their village; a fire immediately breaks out triggering a search for a suspected arsonist and now the farmers must race to prove they did not set fire to their own fields!) starring Joe Stockel, Erna Fentsch, Josef Eichheim, Hans Fitz, Elise Aulinger, Curt Vespermann, and Eva Tinschmann

Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie!). It was printed in Germany during World War II. There are very few German movie posters from during World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. It is likely that German posters from during the Nazi era are even more rare than those from before that era, because most of those that survived the war would have been destroyed right after the war!
