An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Shall We Dance, the classic 1937 Mark Sandrich romantic dancing musical comedy ("Control yourself! ...they're coming on skates!"; "Music by George Gershwin"; "Lyrics by Ira Gershwin"; about a male ballet dancer and a female musical comedy star who have a pretend romance in order to gain publicity, but of course, they fall in love for real!) starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Edward Everett Horton, Eric Blore, Jerome Cowan, Ketti Gallian, William Brisbane, Harriet Hoctor, and Mantan Moreland. Note that this is the Astaire & Rogers movie where they dance together on roller skates! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Condition: good to very good. The card had a tiny tear and creases in the upper right border, and someone put a small piece of tape on the back of that area. It also had faint water staining in the top right corner and in the white background area beneath it, with some faint water stains and smudges around the edges, and a pinhole in the top center. It appears that someone pressed and flattened the card, but did not do other touch up. The card displays pretty well as it is, and certainly, another restorer could perform restoration to the faint water stains in the borders. Learn More about condition grades
