the international theatrical release of The Return of Captain Nemo (released outside the U.S. as "The Amazing Captain Nemo"), the 1978 Alex March made-for-TV underwater science fiction (sci-fi) scuba diving action adventure thriller ("The Greatest Underwater Adventure Of All Time!"; loosely based on the characters from Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and "Mysterious Island") starring Jose Ferrer (in the title role as Captain Nemo; "Captain Nemo Released from suspended animation, he resumes his peaceful quest for Atlantis. But peace is destined to elude him"), Burgess Meredith (as Professor Cunningham, "Professor Cunningham Mastermind of the futuristic Raven and its robot crew, attempts to destroy Washington unless paid a billion dollars ransom."), Lynda Day George ("as Kate"; "Kate Melton She's more to Dr. Cook than just his assistant.
