If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this insert, and we have also never had a half-sheet! Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Note that because the poster has condition issues, we don't want to roll the poster prior to mailing, because we believe that rolling the poster would likely lessen its condition even more. If you specifically request it, we will roll this poster, but you will not be able to return it. Otherwise, it will be sent in a large flat package that measures approximately 16" x 38" (but it can be combined with other posters the same size, including ones that could be rolled). Please bear the expense of a large package in mind before bidding on this poster. UPDATED 12/17/2020: Note that we have added more detail to the Condition Description (the Grade remains the same). What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had most of its blank borders trimmed off and this included the copyright information and NSS numbers at the bottom. Someone replaced three of the missing blank borders during the paperbacking process and they added a thin strip of blank white paper to the bottom border (likely because they likely did not know what information went there). They performed some restoration to the folds. Overall, the poster was in "good" condition prior to paperbacking, due to the trimmed borders. The poster was pretty well paperbacked, but unfortunately someone refolded the poster after it was backed, causing cracking and tiny surface paper loss on the to two folds. It can still be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly additional restoration could be performed with our without backing it. One would prefer to have a better condition, unrestored example of this ultra rare insert but it could take many years for that to come along. Learn More about condition grades
