An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The Primal Lure, the 1916 William S. Hart silent Canada fur trapping romantic love triangle melodrama ("The girl gloried in her revenge and hate"; from the story by Vingie E. Roe; about a man in charge of a Hudson Bay trading post in Canada, and his vital record book is stolen, and he falsely blames a beautiful young woman who went alone into his office, but it was to give him a present, and she is imprisoned, and after an incredibly complicated story involving her agreeing to marry another man if he fires the man in charge, and also an Indian attack, and an outbreak of plague, the story ends with the man and the woman alone, after everyone else deserts the trading post, and we won't spoil the ending by revealing it here!) starring William S. Hart, Margery Wilson, Robert McKim, Jerome Storm, and Joe Goodboy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this six-sheet! Note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Also note this six-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with six-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded six-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", so they cost more to send than regularly folded six-sheets, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. Condition: good to very good. The poster has much dirt and staining on the back of the portion of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some tears and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds (including a small separated piece, which will be sent separate from the poster, so that it can't get misplaced). The poster is fragile (typical of 100+ year old posters!). It has never had any sort of repair or restoration. After linenbacking by a competent professional, this unbelievably rare poster will display incredibly! Learn More about condition grades
