R2000 Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Art House One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) thriller ("The master of suspense brings you his masterpiece!"; "Based on the short story by Cornell Woolrich"; "Screenplay by John Michael Hayes"; about a man who breaks his leg and is forced to stay at his home until he's better; during this time he observes his neighbors and does some voyeuristic detective work) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; as Jeff), Grace Kelly (as Lisa), Wendell Corey (as Detective Lt. Doyle), Thelma Ritter (as Stella), Raymond Burr (as Lars Thorwald), Judith Evelyn (as Miss Lonelyhearts), Georgine Darcy (as Miss Torso), Jesslyn Fax (as Miss Hearing Aid), Rand Harper, Havis Davenport (Harper and Davenport played the "newlyweds"), and Ross Bagdasarian (as the "Songwriter"). Note that Raymond Burr had appeared in movies for seven years before this, but always had minor roles, usually playing the "heavy". Many of these movies ONLY played in a very limited number of theaters, and posters from these movies can be next-to-impossible to find! Also note that because many of these movies were low-budget productions without famous stars, the producers often created great eye-catching posters, knowing how much that would help the success of their movies! Condition: good to very good. Note that this poster was never folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult! 1 1/2" tear in the upper center edge of the poster; small area of surface paper loss in the lower right in the black border; 3" slightly diagonal crease and scuff line in the lower left corner as well as minor creases and scuffs throughout the poster (from rolling and unrolling the poster); tack hole in each corner Learn More about condition grades
