Carole Lombard's Life Story, the 1942 special magazine published immediately after Carole Lombard's tragic death as a special tribute to her. It includes photos of her body being recovered and "broken man" Clark Gable leaving the funeral.

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided.

Condition: very good. Note that originally this magazine was missing pages 9/10 and 26/27, but our consignor located a coverless example of the magazine and removed the missing pages (which are connected to each other!). Right now they are loose within the center of the magazine, but anyone could easily remove the staples from the magazine and put those pages back where they belong and after putting back the staples, they will have a complete magazine in nice condition!
