An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Cyclops, the 1957 Bert I. Gordon science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("Nature Gone Mad!"; "A world of terror - It was a monster - Yet it was a man! You'll hardly believe what your own eyes see!"; "The strangest monster the world has ever seen!") starring James Craig, Lon Chaney Jr., Gloria Talbott, Tom Drake, and Duncan 'Dean' Parkin (in the title role as the Cyclops) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there is a corrective credits snipe over the bottom right of the poster (the movie was released by Allied Artists instead of RKO, so they just sniped that area instead of reprinting the posters). Also note that the poster has a very minor printing defect, which is a series of faint pink and blue lines down the left edge of the left blank border. This was a very minor printing defect that occurred during the printing of these posters, and it is found on some 1950s and early 1960s lobby cards (and some half-sheets), and few collectors consider it much of a defect at all, because it is in the left edge of the blank border, has no effect on the image, and would likely be on all examples of this half-sheet. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had some creases and a few tiny tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! Learn More about condition grades
