Bomba on Panther Island, the 1949 Ford Beebe African tropical jungle island adventure thriller ("Based upon Roy Rockwood's 'Bomba' books") starring Johnny Sheffield (in the title role as Bomba the Jungle Boy; after appearing in "Tarzan Finds A Son" in 1939 as "Boy", Sheffield made a few other movies, but then settled in to playing solely "Boy" and later "Bomba" in this highly successful series!), Allene Roberts, Lita Baron, Charles Irwin, and Harry Lewis
