A record 197 nations competed in the Games, comprising 10,318 athletes and it was the first Games to be staged in a different year from the Winter Games. However, it will probably always be most remembered for the bombing that took place in Centennial Olympic Park that killed two, injured 111, and caused one death by heart attack. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a few scuffs and tiny smudges in the title area. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
