Note that there was an silent version of this movie in 1928 under the title "Sadie Thompson", starring Gloria Swanson and Lionel Barrymore, and a sound version of this movie, under the title "Rain" in 1932, starring Joan Crawford, and Walter Huston! The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Condition: poor. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back that may bleed through to the front. The poster is very fragile and somewhat difficult to handle There was as snipe over the 3D logo which has been torn off and there are many pieces of tape behind it.
