An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 28 1/2" x 40" [72 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

Ours... to Fight For, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Freedom of speech"; "Freedom of worship"; "Freedom from want"; "Freedom from fear") encouraging citizens to help the war effort, and featuring art from four posters created by legendary artist Norman Rockwell. Note that the art on each of these posters initially appeared in the Saturday Evening Post magazine. The posters in this set each listed one of the four freedoms that Americans were fighting to preserve during World War II! Note that all four of these posters, commonly referred to as "The Four Freedoms", were printed in three sizes: 20" x 28", 28" x 40", and 40" x 56", and each was printed and distributed by the U.S. Government Printing Office in 1943 (there are other versions of the posters that were printed and distributed in other ways).

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster has a tiny tear at upper left in the blank border and some tiny crossfold separation. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
