An Original Vintage Theatrical Jumbo Movie Window Card (WC; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Reckless, the 1935 Victor Fleming romantic love triangle musical screwball comedy ("See Jean Harlow dance! Hear Jean Harlow sing the blues!"; "The giant melody drama!"; "MGM's mammoth musical melodrama!"; Harlow is a showgirl who is madly in love with sports promoter Powell, but he doesn't have time for her, and rich Tone chases after her, but discovers his rich high society friends won't accept showgirl Harlow, even after he marries her) starring Jean Harlow, William Powell, Franchot Tone, May Robson, Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Nat Pendleton, Robert Light, Rosalind Russell, Mickey Rooney, Allen 'Farina' Hoskins, Man Mountain Dean (the real life wrestler, as himself!), Allan Jones ("The new crooning sensation!"), Henry Stephenson, and Leon Ames NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare jumbo window card. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! It needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package that will measure approximately 24" x 30". Please bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. Condition: fair. The card had considerable staining and it greatly affected the center of the card running down through the left of Harlow's hair in the large image, and down to the bottom border where there was much surface paper loss as well. There was similar surface paper loss in Harlow's lips and chin and in Powell's chin there are also many other defects in the card. Someone attempted to perform restoration but it was very amateurish. In spite of all this one might display this incredibly rare card as it is, or one might choose to have it properly restored, but that would be an expensive proposition so please do not bis on this unless you have considered all the above.
