Date Sold 10/23/2007Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More) Affair in Trinidad, the 1952 Vincent Sherman Caribbean romantic love triangle murder crime film noir ("Rita Hayworth is back with her 'Gilda' co-star Glenn Ford"; "'You weren't the first... and you won't be the last!'"; "Don't tell Me I'm just one more!"; "Those 'Gilda' stars again in Affair in Trinidad"; about a nightclub singer and her brother-in-law who try to find her husband's killer) starring Rita Hayworth ("is back!"; "is back with her 'Gilda' co-star"; "She's Back!"), Glenn Ford ("her 'Gilda' man"), Alexander Scourby, Valerie Bettis, Torin Thatcher, and Juanita Moore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The card at the top left of our image has had conservation tape put on the back of all four borders, mending tears, and covering pinholes. There was a triangular piece missing in the bottom right corner, and that was replaced with a piece of paper. The card with the close up of Hayworth and Ford was used to display an 8x10 still. The back of that card was overprinted with a brown border, and triangular areas were cut in each corner, so that the still could be placed in the card. The still was then taped to the front in the top left and bottom right. Someone put four pieces of paper over the four cut out areas from the back, and then put a large piece of tape on the back of each area. So the front of the card has four triangular areas of paper loss in each corner and tape stains in the top left and lower right. The other six cards range in condition from "very good" to "very good to fine". Learn More about condition grades
