An Original Vintage Linenbacked World War II Poster (measures 40" x 56 1/4" [102 x 143 cm]) (Learn More) United We Are Strong, United We Will Win, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) poster featuring Henry Koerner artwork of gun barrels with the flags of United States war allies firing into the air. Note that the gun barrels in the image include one for the U.S.S.R., which was then, of course, a strong American ally! Artist: Henry Koerner Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at just a few crossfolds and a very few creases, scuffs, and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now minor creases in the top of the left border and in the bottom of the right border (solely in the excess linen, and not at all in the poster itself).
