Seiter hotel slapstick comedy ("Mama - those men are here again!"; The Marx Bros. are in a hotel and can't pay their bill, and they refuse to leave, with many great comic scenes) starring The Marx Brothers (Groucho Marx, Chico Marx, and Harpo Marx), Lucille Ball, Ann Miller, Frank Albertson, and Cliff Dunstan. Note that not only did this movie have the Marx Bros., but it also had Lucille Ball, who a little over a decade later would become America's favorite comedienne! Artist: Al Hirschfeld Important Added Info: Note that we have not auctioned any lobby cards or posters from this Marx Bros. comedy in the past five years! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card had a sticker and stains on the back of the bottom center that slightly showed through to the front. It also had some tiny pinholes in the borders. Overall, the card was in good to very good condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still exactly looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all. You can see slight signs of the restoration, but the card displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
