An Original Vintage Autographed First Day Cover (measures 3 3/4" x 6 1/2" [10 x 17 cm]) (Learn More) Roy Rogers (often referred to as the "King of the Cowboys") is considered one of the all-time top cowboy western actors (he started in the 1930s and worked in film until the 1950s) and was nearly always accompanied by his equally famous horse, Trigger. He had many female co-stars until he starred with Dale Evans, and they married, and remained married for over 50 years! After his movie career wound down, he and Evans had an extremely successful TV show. He passed away in 1998 at the age of 86. AND Clayton Moore was an actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He appeared in many serials including: Ghost of Zorro, Radar Men from the Moon, and Jungle Dreams of Africa. He is certainly best remembered for his starring role in TV's "The Lone Ranger" (he made personal appearances as the Lone Ranger for many years, but when a remake was made in the 1980s, the studio would not let him wear the famous Lone Ranger mask, and he was forced to wear wrap-around sunglasses instead!). Moore passed away in 1999 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this first day cover has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Roy Rogers AND Clayton Moore!
