(Learn More) Esther Williams was a former swimming and diving champion, who became an extremely popular actress from the 1940s to the 1960s, often, but not always, in MGM movies that showcased her swimming talents. Some of her movies include: Million Dollar Mermaid, Take Me Out to the Ball Game, Dangerous When Wet, and Jupiter's Darling. She passed away in 2013 at the age of 91. Important Added Info: Note that the cover of the digest magazine has been personally autographed (signed) by Esther Williams! Our consignor is a dealer who has acquired many autographed items over many decades. He enjoys finding an item with a good image of that star to "pair" it with, so that the owner can frame the signed item together with the item with the good image. Included with the signed item is title card from 1952's "Skirts Ahoy". The items could be matted together to create a cool display!
