An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Don Ameche was an actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Midnight, Heaven Can Wait, and Alexander's Ragtime Band. He is perhaps best remembered for his starring role as the inventor of the telephone in The Story of Alexander Graham Bell. He had notable "comeback" performances in Trading Places, appearing with Ralph Bellamy, Things Change, and Cocoon (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), appearing with Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Don Ameche! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that the still is an original that dates from the 1940s, but it was likely signed in the 1970s or 1980s. Condition: good to very good. Someone taped the still to a mat from the front in each corner, and the tape was roughly removed, resulting in surface paper loss in the two left corners, and tape stains in the two right corners.
