An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Dawn Wells was an actress from the 1960s to the 2000s. She is certainly best remembered for her role as the wholesome Mary Ann in TV's "Gilligan's Island" (producers were amazed to find that many audience members preferred her to the "movie star", Ginger, played by Tina Louise). Some of her movies include: Winterhawk, Lover's Knot, and Forever for Now. She passed away in 2020 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Dawn Wells (she added her character name "Mary Ann")! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at a Hollywood Collectors Show in Los Angeles. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
