Dave Dashaway and His Giant Airship or A Marvellous Trip Across the Atlantic, the 1913 Roy Rockwood illustrated juvenile fictional science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy adventure thriller novel. Note that Roy Rockwood wrote three series of boys' books in the 1910s, the Dave Dashaway series (flying), the Speedwell Boys series (cars and other forms of ground transportation), and The Great Marvel series (travel to exotic places and other worlds). All three had boys performing occupations designed for men!
