An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Strip Strip Hooray, the undated (probably late 1950s) sexploitation burlesque stripper compilation ("Burlesque! Adult Fun!"; "Fast.. Spicy!"; "Something new in entertainment!"; "Big Time Burlesque on the screen"; "It's those tantalizing girls you meet only in your dreams"; "Gorgeous Girls Great Comedians Glamorous Dancers!") featuring Tempest Storm, Blaza Glory, Charles Crafts, Leon DeVole, and George 'Beetlepuss' Lewis. This is the ultimate in low budget sexploitation movies of the 1950s. It solely consists of clips from stripper movies from between 1948 and 1957, but it makes no pretense to be a documentary, and in fact just has one clip after another with no transition whatsoever! The company that has re-issued many movies such as this, Something Weird Video, has issued this on DVD, and they have identified the contents of the movie (where the clips came from) on their website. Certainly, the poster makes this movie seem far better than it actually was, and it has many excellent taglines! Also, the poster uses the same design (featuring art of Evelyn West who is not in this film) as posters for the 1947 film, Night At The Follies. Finally, note that the IMDb lists this movie as being from 1950, but this is clearly wrong! If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also, note that the IMDb says that the 1932 nudist film, "Let's Go Naked" was also released under the title of "Strip! Strip! Hooray!!! or (Fun with the Sunbathers)". We can't confirm if this is accurate, but if it is, that 1932 movie has nothing to do with this film, other than the possible similar title. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears and tiny paper loss on the left half of the middle foldline, with minor wear on the other folds. There were some scuffs scattered in the image and some tiny areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
