Date Sold 6/3/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 4 trimmed and framed standees (the frames measure 17 1/4" x 24 1/4") from the 1947 re-release of Gone With the Wind. We believe that someone took the four standees from the 1947 re-release and then trimmed them so that they would fit in these frames, which we believe are from much later, but they have a cool "retro" look. No doubt these were framed on someone's wall, and they will look great framed on the new owner's wall, but please realize that these are trimmed standees that were placed in modern frames (and bear that in mind before bidding on them). Also bear in mind that these will need to be sent in a very large box, so that will cost a good deal, and will probably be prohibitively expensive to ship outside the U.S. Do not bid without considering all of the above! Of course, Gone With the Wind is the classic 1939 Victor Fleming (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Civil War romantic melodrama epic ("The Greatest Motion Picture Ever Made!"; "In the New Screen splendor. The most magnificent picture ever!"; "David O. Selznick's production of Margaret Mitchell's story of the Old South"; "Screen play by Sidney Howard"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Clark Gable (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Rhett Butler"), Vivien Leigh (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; "and presenting Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara"), Leslie Howard ("as Ashley Wilkes"), Olivia de Havilland (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; "as Melanie"), Hattie McDaniel ("as Mammy"), Thomas Mitchell ("as Gerald O'Hara"), Butterfly McQueen (as Prissy), Ann Rutherford ("as Carreen O'Hara"), George Reeves, Victor Jory, Jane Darwell, Ward Bond, Ona Munson ("as Belle Watling"), Yakima Canutt, Harry Davenport ("as Dr. Meade"), Carroll Nye ("as Frank Kennedy"), Laura Hope Crews ("as Aunt Pittypat"), Alicia Rhett ("as India Wilkes"), Barbara O'Neil ("as Ellen O'Hara"), and Marcella Martin (as Cathleen Calvert) Measurements: trimmed to 12 1/4" x 19"Condition: good. The standees were trimmed and framed (see above). Learn More about condition grades Titles included:
