An Original Vintage Autographed Stage Play Souvenir Program Book (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 25 pages) (Learn More) The Phantom of the Opera, the 1988 - 2023 Harold Prince romantic horror thriller stage play production (of the Andrew Lloyd Webber play which was based on the novel Le Fantome de l'Opera by Gaston Leroux) starring Michael Crawford (in the title role), Claire Moore, Sarah Brightman, Steve Barton, John Savident, and Rosemary Ashe If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this souvenir program book has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Michael Crawford AND Harold Prince! Also note that we have pictured the front cover and an interior 2-page spread from this program. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing. This item comes from the collection of Duane Robinson, a longtime theater manager who obtained many signed items from celebrities he worked with. In the case of this program, he attended the show on 2/29/1988 (one month after the show premiered on Broadway), and he stapled his ticket stub to the 6-page insert he was given at the show that particular night, and he put that inside of the program book (and he obtained these autographs in person after the show). He has passed away, and there are no certificates of authenticity with any of his items, but we believe the signatures to surely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
