Note that this movie was based on a story by Mary McCarthy. That IS the same woman who, in 1963, wrote the novel "The Group" which was turned into a hit movie in 1966, and it is also this same woman who had a celebrated feud with author Liliian Hellman. This movie was based on the only one of her stories that was turned into a movie other than "The Group". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
