Not only that, but other than a three-sheet we auctioned 20 years ago, this is the only poster from this movie we have ever auctioned. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had a 3/4" x 6" area of paper loss in the left half of the top fold, running from the girl's hand into the horse's nose. It also had similar paper loss in the center of the vertical fold, affecting the writing there. It had another area of paper loss at a diagonal, near the center of the poster, extending into the horse's belly, and paper loss in the right of the middle fold. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Given these significant defects, the restorer did a pretty good job, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
