2 1919 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

A Jitney Elopement, the 1915 Charles Chaplin silent romantic comedy short ("A two part Chaplin riot presenting the funniest stunts with a 'flivver' ever filmed with the famous all star Chaplin cast") starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin), Lloyd Bacon, Fred Goodwins, Bud Jamison, Paddy McGuire, and Edna Purviance
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that it is likely that there were no lobby cards made when this classic short was released in 1915 (there were a very few 1915 lobby cards at all). When the movie was re-released in 1919, a set of cards was released, and these are two scene cards from that 1919 re-release that we have never auctioned before!

Condition: very good. Both of the cards have tiny pinholes in a few portions of the blank borders. The card pictured at top has a few tiny creases and tears in the left center blank border and the other has a tiny tear in that area, but other than the blank border defects the cards are in pretty nice condition and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
