Date Sold 7/15/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 7 Original 1989 Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Young Einstein, the 1988 (released in the U.S. in 1989) Yahoo Serious Australian historical semi-biographical comedy ("Australia's colossal comedy hit starring its newest comedy hero comes to the states!"; "The Incredible Untold Story of the Greatest Mind of All Time") starring Yahoo Serious (in the title role "as Young Einstein"), Odile Le Clezio, John Howard, Peewee Wilson, and Su Cruickshank NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1988, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
