Romero (the director, as one of the Washington reporters!), Russell Streiner, Ella Mae Smith, Dick Heckard, John Kirch, Paula Richards, George Kosana, John Russo, Richard Ricci, and Terry Gindele NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a quote from a Pittsburgh review at the top which is missing from the "regular" one-sheet (and re-release one-sheets), and in the past, we were uncertain of the date of this poster. However, a search of archived newspapers shows that this quote was used to advertise the film at least as early as October 22nd of 1968. As the film premiered in Pittsburgh on October 1st, it seems certain that this poster is from the first release of the film in 1968. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had minor creases on some foldlines and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
