Artist: John Solie Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). There were some stains in the right blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did very little restoration to the image area and left alone the blank right border. Learn More about condition grades
