An Undated (probably 1950s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Military One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Winchester '73, the classic 1950 Anthony Mann revenge cowboy western ("The Gun that Won the West"; about a man who wins a very special repeating rifle in a shooting contest, only to have it stolen from him, and his quest to regain ownership of it, and the many hands that it passes through) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Shelley Winters, Dan Duryea, Stephen McNally, Millard Mitchell, Charles Drake, John McIntire, Will Geer (as Wyatt Earp), Jay C. Flippen, Rock Hudson (in a small role as a Native American Indian), Tony Curtis (in a small role as a young soldier; billed as "Anthony Curtis"), and Steve Brodie NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." or "Printed in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right (most often, the ones that were used in the 1950s in the Korean War have "Litho in U.S.A.", and the ones that were used in the 1960s in the Vietnam War have "Printed in U.S.A.). This is one of the posters that says "Litho U.S.A.". Condition: fair. There is some creasing, smudging, and ink transfer throughout the poster. There are many pairs of staple holes scattered throughout the poster with some tears and small areas of paper loss from rough removal. Learn More about condition grades
