An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Dark Passage, the 1947 Delmer Daves San Francisco California romantic crime film noir ("Together again!"; "In danger as violent as their love!!!"; "Their crowning achievement together!"; "The hunted become the hunters... As a spectacular Saturday Evening Post serial is brought to the screen!"; "From the Novel by David Goodis"; about a man who was wrongfully convicted of killing his wife, and he escapes from San Quentin and then has plastic surgery to disguise his appearance, and he hitchhikes a ride with beautiful Lauren Bacall, who offers to help him find out who actually killed his wife) starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Bruce Bennett, Agnes Moorehead, Tom D'Andrea, Clifton Young, and Douglas Kennedy. Note that this was the third movie in which Humphrey Bogart co-starred with Lauren Bacall. They first met during the filming of "To Have and Have Not" in 1944, and then were married in 1945. They re-teamed for "The Big Sleep" in 1946, and then made this movie the following year. They teamed again in "Key Largo" in 1948, but they did not make another movie together after that, likely having a lot to do with their having two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair to good. The card had a Spanish language title written in pencil in the middle left background area, and someone partially erased it. There are stains and pinholes around the edges of the card, and a few scattered within the image. Someone once put seven small pieces of brown paper tape on the back of parts of the borders, likely to attach it to a mat, and there were some small pieces of brown paper tape on the back of the center of the card, but they were not put there for a restoration purpose. There are some smudges and tiny dot stains in both stars' faces. Obviously, this card has many substantial defects, but a talented restorer could certainly repair them, and after proper restoration, the card will look great, but please do not bid on this card unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
