The studio eventually passed to his grandson Leopold, who introduced a very distinctive style of merging photographic images with art nouveau fantasy overlays. The Reutlinger Studio became known for their unusual art nouveau styles of postcard and posters, especially for portraits of actresses. Leopold continued to run the studio until he lost an eye in an accident with a champagne cork in 1930. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded and had some minor wear on the borders and the left of the bottom blank border was extremely slightly trimmed. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
