The Los Angeles Olympic Games attracted a then-record 140 participating nations and are often considered the most financially successful modern Olympics. The official mascot of the Los Angeles Games was Sam the Olympic Eagle and the logo of the games featured five blue, white and red stars arranged horizontally and struck through with alternating streaks which was called "Stars in Motion". Artist: David Hockney Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one with this great art by David Hockney in all our years of auctioning! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There is spotty, slight discoloration in a few inches of the upper edge and in a few tiny areas of the poster (see our image).
