But the gorgeous humor is only part of a stirring human story-a drama of sunshine and shadows, heart-throbs and thrills, that will truly move you."; "From the novel by Kathleen Norris"; about two Irish families who live across from each other, and they fight a lot, but their son and daughter fall in love, but because the families fight, they get secretly married; the husband gets involved with bootlegging, and he is away when his wife has a baby, and the wife's mother adopts it to spare her daughter the shame, but eventually everyone finds out everything and it all works out really nicely) starring Marie Dressler, Sally O'Neil, Lawrence Gray, Polly Moran, Frank Currier, and Eddie Gribbon. Note that this was one of a dozen movies where Dressler and Moran co-starred. They were one of the most unlikely "teams" in Hollywood history (both older women who were not especially attractive), but the public loved their movies! There are light stains in the bottom center and lower left border, with a few tack holes around the edges and a tiny tear in the right blank border. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
