Date Sold 11/19/2009 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 10 Original Vintage Theatrical English/U.S. Color 8" x 10" Movie Stills (EngUS 8x10s; printed in England for use in the United States) (Learn More) Where the Boys Are, the classic 1961 Henry Levin romantic Florida spring break beach teen comedy melodrama ("The Hilarious Inside Story of those Rip-Roaring Spring Vacations"; "Based on the novel by Glendon Swarthout") starring Dolores Hart, George Hamilton (in his fourth movie role!), Yvette Mimieux (in her third credited movie role!), Jim Hutton, Barbara Nichols, Paula Prentiss, Frank Gorshin, and Connie Francis (billed as "introducing Connie Francis"; in her first acting role - and she sings the title song!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that although these stills were "printed in Great Britain", they have full NSS information. Perhaps they were intended to be used in both countries (we have heard from collectors who saw these color stills in U.S. theaters at the time the movies were released, but we have not heard from any English collectors as to whether they were used in England at that time). If any English collector knows if these were or were not used in English theaters when the movies were released, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. The still in the top left of our image has many creases, water staining, scuffs, and a 1 1/2" tear in the center of the top border that was repaired with tape from the back.
