An Original Vintage Linenbacked 4-Page Magazine Spread (measures 12" x 37 1/2") (Learn More) Le Defile Du Printemps (literally translates to "The Parade of Spring"), the 1901 Le Rire French magazine art featuring a four page image of various people (many half-dressed) and fantastical creatures celebrating Spring by Georges Meunier (and note the "Mrs. Grundy" type lady walking disapprovingly in the middle of the precession). If anyone knows more about what magazine this was printed in, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Georges Meunier Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. We don't know if these pages were joined together in the magazine or if they were joined during linenbacking, but you can see the seams between the sections and there is minor wear on them. There is darkening and a few pinholes around the edges of the borders. Overall, the pages were in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The pages were nicely backed, and display well!
