Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned four examples of this poster, but only one of them was unfolded, and it sold for $2,322! Note also that this "country of origin" British quad measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm] and it says "Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew, Nottingham" in the lower right. In the past we have contacted English poster experts, and they tell us that British quad posters for this title were made in both a 30" x 40" and a 31" x 41" size and were printed on more than one kind of paper. We are certain the poster offered here is authentic. Finally, note that we refer to this as the "gyrocopter" style. There is also the "bathing" style and "sideways" style (because Bond is sideways in the image!), and we are currently auctioning each of those in separate auctions. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some minor creases around the edges and a few fine creases scattered in the art and title at left and in a few smaller portions of the image. There are a few faint scuffs in the image (mostly in the yellow of the gyrocopter) but they and the few fine creases are hardly noticeable when the poster is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance.
