Fantastic story of the world's first rocket ship."; "ACTUALLY FILMED IN SPACE!"; about the testing of the first aircraft that almost left the Earth's atmosphere, paving the way for the Apollo space program that quickly followed it) starring David McLean, Charles Bronson, James Gregory, Mary Tyler Moore, Patricia Owens, James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; as the narrator), and real life test pilots and a newscaster who played themselves: Ed Fleming, Lee Giroux, Grant Holcomb, and Lew Irwin NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. This pressbook is in lesser condition. It has significant defects, such as tears, stains, smudges, and small areas of paper loss around the edges. However, important to note that it is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported. But please do not bid on this pressbook unless you can accept the clear defects that it has (if you look at the images we provide, you should get a good sense of what defects this pressbook has).
