A 1987 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Pressbook Ad Pad (pb supplement; measures 9 3/4" x 13 1/4" [25 x 34 cm]; 11 pages) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the classic 1937 David Hand Walt Disney animated animation family romantic fairy-tale fantasy musical cartoon ("His first full length feature production"; "In the Marvelous Multiplane Technicolor"; "Behold The Miracle of the Movies! Coming to amaze you, charm you, thrill you!"; "With Eight new songs as catching as 'The Big Bad Wolf.'"; "To thrill you"; "Merriment!"; "Melody!"; "Magic!"; "The dwarfs sing their marching song on the way to work."; "Walt Disney's first full length feature production"; "The show sensation of the generation!"; "Wondrously filmed in all the glories of the marvelous multiplane Technicolor"; "The Screen's Supreme Thrill! 1,000 artists worked three years to give you this once-in-a-lifetime show!... A full hour and a half of the most enthralling entertainment you ever experienced... truly the miracle in motion pictures!") featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti (in the title role as Snow White), Harry Stockwell (as the Prince), Lucille La Verne, Moroni Olsen, and Stuart Buchanan. Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The Disney studio did something with their pressbooks that was different from all other studios. They would print a regular pressbook, and also print a separate "ad pad" which would contain all of the newspaper ads. It is difficult to find Disney pressbooks that have their ad pad, and both sections are complete without any cuts. Also, Disney pressbooks were almost always printed on much better quality paper (usually a glossy heavy stock) than other pressbooks of the same time. Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the supplement, plus an image of an inside spread, but of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire supplement we are selling. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS SOLELY A SUPPLEMENT AND NOT AN ENTIRE PRESSBOOK! Condition: very good. Only the ad pad is present (not the complete pressbook). Learn More about condition grades
