Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 11" x 17"; 4 pages) (Learn More) Flesh Feast, the 1970 Brad F. Grinter horror thriller ("Living bodies used for the most vile experiment ever devised!"; "Morbid horror in vivid COLOR"; "Creeping, Crawling, Flesh-Eating Maggots!") starring Veronica Lake (who sadly was reduced to acting in this cheesy horror movie!), Phil Philbin, Heather Hughes, Martha Mischon, Yanka Mann, Dian Wilhite, and Chris Martell. Note that Veronica Lake's stardom was fairly brief in the 1940s, and by the late 1940s, her career was largely over. In 1951, she retired from movies, and she had a severe drinking problem. She appeared in one movie in 1966, and then this movie was her final film role, and she passed away in 1973, and she was just 53 years old. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook is part of an amazing collection of 456 different horror/sci-fi pressbooks (our items #5387 through #5842)! The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these pressbooks will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Note that this collection spans the years from 1950 to 1972, and just about every single 1950s and 1960s horror/sci-fi movie is represented here. Also note that we have listed them in DATE order (first by year, and then alphabetically within years). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare pressbooks that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: very good. Note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers).
