Artist: Howard Terpning Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was displayed and faded slightly. It had paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, tears, and surface paper loss on most of the folds, with pinholes and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the restorer did not address the slight fading.
